I am a first year OTD student at University of Wisconsin – Madison. I am originally from a suburb of Milwaukee and I graduated from University of Wisconsin La Crosse in Recreational Therapy. Growing up I would go to badger games with my cousins, so Madison has felt like home since I have moved here. One of my favorite things to do is be outside, in the winter and the summer, surprising I know! My favorite occupations include downhill skiing, running, hiking, backpacking, golf, biking, and spending time with friends and family. My interests in the lab include the feeding project involving autistic children and positive family mealtimes, along with the school-based parenting program. I really enjoy the Ausderau lab because of the wide array of research projects and the extensive opportunities to learn and engage in the research process.
