I have recently started in the OTD program here at University of Wisconsin-Madison. I am originally from Fergus Falls, Minnesota, having the lakes here in Madison has made me feel right at home! I went to undergrad at South Dakota State University majoring in Human Development and Family Studies. I am hoping to go into working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as an Occupational Therapist. In my work as a Direct Support Professional I found a passion working with that population. Some of my current favorite occupations include running, reading, watching the Hallmark channel, hiking, boating, game nights, and anything with friends and family! My interest in the Ausderau Lab includes working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and furthering my understanding in helping with self-advocacy for those individuals.
