Hi! I am a second-year master’s student in Kinesiology with a track in Occupational Sciences. I became involved with Dr. Ausderau’s lab during my undergraduate degree studying the effects of Zika virus exposure on the development of newborn rhesus macaques. My master thesis is focused on how the Zika virus impacts gait development during the first month of life in rhesus macaques. After finishing my master’s, I am planning to pursue an OTD degree and a PhD to continue to conduct research related to occupational therapy. Outside of class, I enjoy working out, traveling, and playing with my dog, Scout.
