I am a PhD candidate in Kinesiology, on the Occupational Science track. I am originally from Palo Alto, CA but have lived all over the country: Washington, Texas, Missouri, California, and now, Wisconsin! While in undergrad, I was a collegiate volleyball player and was inducted into my college hall of fame in 2021. I received my Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis in December 2020. I live in Milwaukee, WI with my husband, Kyle, and Great Pyrenees-Husky mix, Beau and German Shepherd-Husky mix, Zuri.
My research interests look at the intersection of community engaged health programming with advocacy and policy work for self-advocates and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
