Welcome! We are excited for you to join us. This curriculum is a how-to guide to understand and get involved in research as a participant, researcher and consumer for individuals with intellectual disabilities and their caregivers. We want to empower individuals with intellectual disabilities (ID) and their communities to more fully participate in research by teaching them how to get involved in research. The Toolkit includes four modules that cover different research topics: what health research is, how to develop your personal health story, what the research process is, and how to think like a researcher.
